Meet Dr. Sobia Shaikh

Overview

Dr. Shaikh was born and raised in Pakistan, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). She moved to the United States in 2001 in pursuit of greater career opportunities and later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University (NYU) in 2008. After completing her education, she chose to settle in the Chicago suburbs.

Dr. Shaikh is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist committed to providing the highest quality dental care to patients of all ages. With a passion for promoting oral health and a gentle approach to treatment, she strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient.

She believes in staying current with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques. Dr. Shaikh regularly attends continuing education courses and workshops to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care using modern dental equipment and procedures.

Patient education is very important to Dr. Shaikh. With a gentle chairside manner and a strong commitment to helping patients understand their oral health, she takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and goals before developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs. Whether performing a routine dental cleaning, a complex restorative procedure, or a smile makeover, Dr. Shaikh is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles that last a lifetime.

In her free time, Dr. Shaikh enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
